Decide the type of estimating you want to use.

If you do Handyman work or something that follows tasks, select the Task Oriented style that fits you. If you do large jobs or any job that requires detail, select Detail Line-Item Style.  The cost database is available with either style, but each style retains its own working cost database.

Choose the style of estimate coding you need when you need it.

If you are to use the RS Means databases just check the Commercial check box and click on the Apply button.
